NewJeans will be the first K-pop girl group to perform on the Geunjeongjeon stage at Gyeongbokgung Palace.

'2024 Korea On Stage - New Generation' (hereinafter referred to as 'Korea On Stage'), hosted by the National Heritage Administration and hosted by the National Heritage Promotion Agency and KBS Korea Broadcasting, will be held on the special stage in front of Heungnyemun Gate of Gyeongbokgung Palace on the 21st. Geunjeongjeon is a palace building where important national ceremonies were held during the Joseon Dynasty and is currently an important national heritage designated as a national treasure. It is rare for a public performance to be held in the Geunjeongjeon area even since the opening of Gyeongbokgung Palace in 1954, and the National Heritage Administration is attracting attention by opening Geunjeongjeon specifically for the stage of New Genes, the leading K-pop group in Korea.

New Jeans, who became the first K-pop girl group to perform a special stage at Geunjeongjeon, will present an even more special 'Cool With You' stage on this day.


In particular, they are said to have presented styling that highlights the beauty of Korea, including a hanbok costume with a design that reinterprets the Dansam jeogori, suranchima, and daeranchima that were specially made for this stage, beoseon-style shoes, and goddess-like hair ornaments. In addition, it is expected to convey the greatness of national heritage and the status of K-pop at the same time by adding a fantastic performance that brightens the night scene of Geunjeongjeon.
