📢 [Exclusive] Shin Ye-eun to star opposite Lee Jae-wook in upcoming drama "Jonber Doctor"

According to OSEN’s report on the afternoon of May 8th, actress Shin Ye-eun has decided to take on the female lead role in the new drama "Jonber Doctor", where she will be acting alongside Lee Jae-wook.

Shin Ye-eun recently received the script for "Jonber Doctor" and has agreed to appear in the series after reviewing it positively.

"Jonber Doctor" tells the survival story of Do Ji-ui, a plastic surgeon who ends up working as a public health doctor on a hellish and avoided island called Pyeondong-do. For one year, he meets all sorts of patients and locals and struggles to endure the situation.
The original webtoon began serialization in February 2022 on Kakao Webtoon, and is still ongoing and much loved. The drama will be directed by Lee Myung-woo, known for The Fiery Priest (which surpassed 20% in viewership ratings) and Boyhood on Coupang Play.

Shin Ye-eun will play Yuk Ha-ri, a fellow nurse working alongside Do Ji-ui. She used to be a nurse at a top-tier university hospital but suddenly becomes a one-year contract nurse at the Pyeondong Health Center, crossing paths with Do Ji-ui.
This will mark the first time Shin Ye-eun and Lee Jae-wook star together in the same production.
