It's really hard to be a fan of JYP

Even though it's obvious that JYP doesn't have a strong fandom, at least they still have some public favor, which is a relief. ITZY and NMIXX barely have any domestic fans, especially on forums like this. But every time something happens, people keep calling them "flop idols" and saying they have no fans, while claiming that JYP fans are the ones stirring up trouble.

Like, where are these supposed JYP fans? I used to like JYP groups too, but after seeing them get criticized all the time, it became exhausting to stan them. Since ITZY, I just casually support them instead. But seeing constant troll posts here and people responding with insults instead of ignoring them is just too much.

When have Sullyoon and Yuna ever been praised? Sullyoon wore low-rise pants and showed her hips, yet people still call it "hip padding." No matter how pretty she is or how skilled she is, people nitpick her proportions. Everyone knows there's a certain group obsessed with hating on Sullyoon here, yet instead of ignoring them, people keep dragging her down. They claim it's "viral marketing," call NMIXX a flop, or say JYP fans are only trying to boost their idols.

And now they're saying, "Jang Wonyoung fans will stay out of it, so just focus on Sullyoon instead~" Meanwhile, Wonyoung’s fandom seems to know how to ignore things properly. Can Karina’s side do the same and just ignore it too?

JYP idols can’t even get their songs to go viral, so how would they be pushing Sullyoon with viral marketing? It's seriously frustrating.

For the record, I actually like JYP idols a lot, but I also like all 4th-gen girl groups and don’t hate any of them. If this post still seems like stirring the pot, then I apologize. But seriously, can we just start ignoring this stuff?

THE COMMENTS:
  1. At least Karina’s negative posts get somewhat filtered through the top comments, but if you look at the trending posts right now, the ones about Seol Yoon are just full of hate, with no balance at all.
  2. It’s just frustrating. I wish all the troublemakers were actually just JYP fans, at least then we’d see more promotional posts from them.
  3. It seems like a group of certain fans just camps out on the forum, constantly commenting, manipulating upvotes, and spamming posts.
  4. It’s obvious. The forum is dominated by SM fans, but somehow, all the chaos is blamed on JYP fans? That’s hilarious. Seol Yoon and Yuna get hate because they’re from JYP. If they were from SM, they’d be praised and placed at the top.
  5. The real problem is that their fandom is tiny, yet they behave so aggressively.
  6. Ah, so the JYP fans manipulated the upvotes to 80 within 10 minutes? Got it.
  7. So disgusting. They conveniently forget all the shady things they’ve done.
  8. Exactly how I felt. There aren’t even that many JYP fans, so seeing people blaming them was laughable. Why do people keep feeding into those bait posts?
  9. Other companies' viral marketing is so obvious. It’s clear that these are just trolls trying to bring down JYP artists. No wonder their revenue is two to three times higher than JYP’s, but their net profit is barely a tenth of it. They pour money into marketing instead of actual profit.
  10. This must be what crocodile tears feel like.
  11. This forum allows self-questioning and answering, so faking engagement is easy. Don’t take it too seriously.
  12. This whole situation just made me realize how ruthless SM fans can be. I won’t forget this.
  13. It’s obvious they’re using Seol Yoon and Yuna to attack Karina. Everyone knows it, so don’t worry.
  14. Even stock market investors have their own favorite idols. HYBE stans go for BTS, YG stans go for BLACKPINK, JYP stans go for Stray Kids, Cube stans go for (G)I-DLE, and SM stans go for aespa + touring revenue. Investors aren’t going to shield unpopular idols.
  15. JYP antis calling others stock market investors is ironic. Every agency’s stock forums are a mess, not just JYP’s.
  16. Look at how JYP antis are here spreading nonsense again. They’re always clinging onto TWICE’s dwindling domestic fandom. How long are they going to milk this?
  17. Remember the name "TrueKing"—don’t forget it.
  18. This is JYP antis’ routine. First, they flood with hate comments and stir up conflict. Then, when it starts becoming obvious, they suddenly switch tactics and play the victim.
  19. JYP doesn’t even do viral marketing. They save that money and rank first in operating profit among agencies. Their financial statements clearly show they don’t do viral marketing, yet their artists get constant hate posts with no defense. It’s so unfair.
  20. Since TWICE’s era, this has been happening. They claim group chats don’t exist, but in reality, the other side organizes people to manipulate upvotes and push certain comments to the top. TWICE barely promotes in Korea anymore, so it’s quiet now, but the moment a TWICE post appears, they bring up old live performances from years ago to drag them. TWICE has maintained their image, improved their skills, and become all-rounders, so now the only thing they can criticize is an old performance. Before, they attacked their individual endorsements, but now that they’re successful in that too, they have nothing left. JYP doesn’t invest in viral marketing, which is why their artists don’t trend on this forum. It’s exhausting. The fandom that constantly dominates this place with upvotes and comment power is the one doing viral marketing. JYP gets hated on for everything, yet somehow, they’re accused of running group chats? It’s ridiculous.
  21. I like all JYP artists, but seeing how their hate posts don’t get filtered at all while people constantly call them "flops" is really frustrating. Why are people so desperate to bring JYP artists down? Just let fans enjoy their favorites. Don’t fall for these divisive posts, and just ignore them. But at this point, it feels like they’re not being tricked—they just genuinely enjoy bashing JYP.
  22. For real. JYP’s fandom is small, and fans are busy enjoying their idols. There aren’t even enough people to engage in fan wars. By now, we all know who’s actually stirring up trouble. It’s just so unfair.
