According to iMBC Entertainment’s exclusive report on the 7th, Lee Jun-hyuk will appear in SBS's new drama Awakening.
Awakening, which Lee Jun-hyuk stars in, is a fantasy drama incorporating occult elements and is set against the backdrop of a high school. The story will revolve around various incidents occurring there.
In the series, Lee Jun-hyuk will play the role of a teacher who is also an exorcist, and he is expected to be the lead character.
Previously, in an interview after the end of his last SBS drama My Perfect Secretary, Lee Jun-hyuk hinted at his next role, saying, “Lately, I’ve been into Supernatural. I’d like to try acting in something related to exorcism or the supernatural. I’ve caught a lot of humans in my past roles — maybe this time I’ll try catching ghosts.”
